The French international, just crowned with his Olympic title with the France rugby sevens, had taken advantage of a long break after the competition to spend some quality time in California, where he had been invited by the LA Chargers, who play in the NFL.

Eager for sport and new discoveries, “Toto” had the chance to visit the infrastructure and training grounds, to interact with the staff but also to train like a pro.
He impressed Cameron Dicker, the team’s scorer, with his kicking game, followed a specific proprioception session, gave some advice on how to properly grip a rugby ball and even exchanged an autographed jersey with Khalil Mack .
“It feels good to clear my head, I knew that at some point, during my break, I was going to go a little further,” declared Dupont on the Bros. YouTube channel Storiesin October 2024.
“I realize that I have the chance to do extraordinary things but I manage to enjoy it without worrying and without it overwhelming me,” he adds.
“My personal demands will always be at least as high as those from the outside,” concludes Antoine Dupont, who is already looking ahead to future deadlines.
