Excellent results, in the last weekend at the regional championships, for the <a href="https://www.archysport.com/2022/04/judo-lorenzo-rossi-and-lisa-riccio-on-the-podium-of-the-citta-di-colombo-international-trophy/" title="Judo: Lorenzo Rossi and Lisa Riccio on the podium of the "Città di Colombo" international trophy”>Judo Club Sakura Arma di Taggia, which brought a large number of athletes ranging from the Seniors to the Boys categories to compete on the tatami.
To confirm the excellent moment that the Armenian association is going through, numerous medals arrived which filled with pride the athletes, technicians and supporters who, in large numbers, attended the matches of the young people competing. Below are the results
1st place: Lorenzo Rossi and Mattia Cicala (Seniors), Leonardo Armonio and Marco Brigliadori (Rookies B), Cristiana Moret and Mattia Salvi (Rookies A) and Luca Lanfranchi (Boys).
2nd place: Marino Ciskje (Seniors), Amarante Angelillo (Cadets), Ginevra Armonio, Fabio Garibaldi, Lucia Nobile and Pietro Zunino (Boys).
3rd place: Giacomo Lombardi (Seniors), Alessandro Panizzi (Rookies B), Martina Liparoti (Boys).
They remained out of the medal zone only for a short time, despite having fought at their best: Riccardo Bollo (Senior), Noemi Antellini (Cadets), Gabriele Roncone (Cadets), Mirko Cirillo (Rookies A), Andrea Indelicato and Alessandro Masucci (Boys).
At the end of the two days of competition, the Judo Club Sakura Arma di Taggia had the great satisfaction of placing itself in fourth place in the regional ranking by club. The technical manager Alberto Ferrigno commented on the result as follows: “Today the boys once again demonstrated their good preparation. After the excellent results achieved in the national final of the A2 Italian Cup, now this confirmation which also gives hope for the next commitments The technicians, Alessio and Manuela Ferrigno who follow the competitive and pre-competitive athletes respectively, dedicate themselves fully to their preparation and are now reaping the fruits of their commitment”.
