This weekend the ninth round of the competition’s regular league was played. In group A-1, the match between CLUB DEPORTIVO UNIVERSIDAD DE SALAMANCA (2nd) and GEPRECON CUMBERS CDSI (1st) was the most outstanding of the day, where the locals had the opportunity to take first place in the classification. Finally, the Valladolid team won the game 58 to 65, establishing a difference of 2 victories with the rest of the teams.
The day also featured very close matches such as the one between AD UNIVERSIDAD DE OVIEDO and BASKET ELOY VILLANUEVA that concluded with a visitor victory by 58 to 61. The clash between the third classified team and the fourth, FORMASPACK LA PAZ TORRELAVEGA and EL COCHINILLO also stood out. SEGOVIANO SL who faced each other to cling to the top positions in the table, being 67 to 42 the end result for the locals.
In group A-2, three teams continue to maintain their unbeaten streak, SEIS DO NADAL COIA, MG-CYASA FODEBA GIJÓN and PATATAS HIJOLUSA are undefeated. On the other hand, UNIVERSIDAD DE LEÓN-PLUS CONTACTO is reunited with victory after beating ATLÉTICA AVILESINA at home in a tight match that ended 57 to 60.
EMBUTIDOS PAJARIEL 6.25 added the first victory to its locker thanks to a 56-62 away victory against MARISTAS CORUÑA COMERCIAL GARMO. The next day will offer important confrontations such as the duel between UNIVERSIDAD DE LEÓN-PLUS CONTACTO and MG-CYASA FODEBA GIJÓN.
