This Wednesday the ATP Finals 2024 continues at the Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy, the championship that brings together the best eight tennis players of the season, with two matches corresponding to the second date of the group John Newcombe: Carlos Alcaraz vs. Andrey Rublev and Alexander Zverev vs. Casper Ruud.
The tournament takes place on a cement court and indoors. All games are broadcast live on an ESPN signal, channel that can be tuned online on the digital platforms Flow, DGO and Telecentro Play or on the signal’s own platform, Disney+.
This Wednesday’s matches at the ATP Finals
- Not before 10: Carlos Alcaraz vs. Andrey Rublev.
- Not before 4:30 p.m.: Alexander Zverev vs. Casper Ruud.
*All times correspond to Argentina.
The players face each other in their respective groups – three games each – and the two best will advance to the semifinals, a stage in which no player has yet secured a place. There they will cross the first from one zone against the second from the other. The definition is scheduled for Sunday, November 17.
The big absentee from the competition is Novak Djokovic, who came sixth in the race to the ATP Finals with 3,910 points but gave up competing and defending the crown he won in 2023. He is the top winner of the Masters with seven stars – Shanghai 2008, London 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015; and Turin 2022 and 2023 – and the last two-time champion, so the championship will have a new monarch after two seasons. The Balkan’s place was taken by Rublev.
