This Wednesday at noon, the San Juan Judo Team left from San Juan bound for San Salvador de Jujuy. The team will be part of the 2024 Clausura National Championship, a competition that will be held from November 14 to 17.
The National will have the participation of dozens of judokas from different parts of Argentina. The tournament will be held in the covered stadium of the Jujuy Basketball Federation.
The organization of the championship will be the responsibility of the Jujuy Federation of Judo and Jiu Jitsu; and with the supervision of the Argentine Judo Confederation.
The San Juan team is made up of Luciano Rodríguez, children’s; Antonella Riveros, Mateo Dávila, Juan Vargas, Martín Rosas, Franco Muñoz and Lautaro Méndez, Sub 18; Marco Álamo, Santiago Rosas and Guadalupe Muñoz, Sub 21; Gianmarco De Leone, Joaquín Sánchez, Alex Cortéz, Marcos Lee, Carlos Bustos and Franco Jofré, Kyu (adults); Agustín Rosas, José Mostacilla, Azul Coldwell and Jeremías Fernández, seniors (black belts). Technical director: Ricardo Meritello. Referee: Jeremías Subject. Head of Delegation: Luis Meritello.
The provincial team began its journey at 1 p.m. at the gates of the Aldo Cantoni stadium. The delegation has the support of the provincial government, through the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports, through the Mobility Division of the Sports Secretariat.
