Mumbai, Agency. Wildcard entrant Nitin Kumar Sinha, qualifier Vishnu Vardhan and seventh seed Karan Singh entered the quarterfinals of the MSLTA 25K men’s ITF tennis tournament on Thursday. In the second round, Sinha defeated compatriot Manish Sureshkumar 6-4, 6-3 while Karan Singh defeated Rishabh Agarwal 6-2, 6-0. Vardhan entered the next round after fourth seed Shashikumar Mukund retired due to illness. The clash between Vardhan and Karan will see one Indian reach the semi-finals. Uzbekistan’s top seed Khumoyun Sultanov fended off Dev Zavia’s challenge and won 7-5, 6-3. Now in the quarterfinals, he will face Aditya Ganesan, who defeated wild card entrant Siddhant Banthia 6-3, 6-3.
