Musmer Unileague Basketball League, organized by the Northern Cyprus Universities Federation, started with a competitive opening match at Nicosia Atatürk Sports Hall on 14 November 2024. Rauf Denktaş University (RDÜ) entered the first week of the league with a victory by coming from behind and winning 73-68 against Middle East Technical University (METU).
The Architect of RDU’s Coming From Behind Victory: Yarkpazuo F. Moore
In the opening match, RDU won with its superior performance in the third quarter, despite being behind throughout the match. The star of the team in RDU’s victory was Yarkpazuo F.
