Mazatlán, Sinaloa. – Alex Tovalín continues to establish himself as one of the reliable arms of the Venados de Mazatlán bullpen and reached his second save, so far in the Banco Azteca 2024-2025 Season, in the ARCO Mexican Pacific League.
Last Tuesday Tovalín got his second save of the season, ensuring the victory with the key support of the hitters and the team in general.
“Thanks to the hitters for that run three; that extra run was important for us in the relay. The start was a little complicated, but we came out with the victory.
Every victory before the end of the first round is very valuable, obviously we want the series and the next, but we go game by game, now we go for tomorrow,” commented the pitcher.
right-handed pitcher reached his second save, in nine games and 6.2 innings pitched, during the 2023-2024 season his record was 3-1 and one save, in 26.2 innings.
Tovalín highlighted the unity and trust between players and coaching staff, keys to heading for the next victories.
“Staying united has been the key. It was a bad streak where many players left and others arrived, but in the end you have to go out and give results. I fully trust my coaches and teammates; They did a great job, and I’m just going out to do my bit,” he added.
The Mazatlán team remains focused on adding victories that will allow them to close the first round in a good position.
