“a more than deserved achievement”

Last weekend the Village Sports Center was involved in two competitions. The athletes of the Junior and Senior categories were competing in Florence, accompanied by the coach Lorenzo Gambogi. Erik Sangiorgi in the up to 81 kg category climbs to the third step of the podium after four fights, three of which he won before the limit.

In the women’s category up to 57 kg, Michela Cicchetti took first place with a masterful competition, which in addition to winning the tournament guarantees her the points needed to win the coveted first Dan black belt.

“A more than deserved achievement achieved with effort and willpower”, explains the local club with satisfaction in a note. Also on Sunday in Guastalla, accompanied by technicians Andrea Guadagnini and Matteo Tufariello, the Rookie and Cadet categories were present. Martina Conficconi, Francesco Visani and Davide Tufariello took first place in the category, while Filippo Belletti, Stephanie and Zizzamia, Kevin Canale, Amos Montanari, Sofia Giorgi and Diego Tufariello took the second step of the podium.

Third place was Daniele Capodieci, Francesco Giuliano and Gianfranco Capodieci. Lauren Allushaj, Agata Bertazzini, Omar Dammak and Abdul Roman ranked fifth.

Thanks to the excellent results of the Ravenna judokas, the Centro Sportivo Village ranks in second place among the clubs behind only the Modena team. Results to be confirmed also in the next scheduled races.
