Judo (柔道/ Japanese) means “the gentle way”.
We are taught how we can defeat our “enemy” by giving in. Skill and precise techniques on the one hand and the highest possible use of body and mind on the other hand distinguish the sport of judo from other two-combat sports. Different belt colors indicate the respective skill level. Successes in training and competition additionally motivate the children and strengthen their personal development.
