Chubut schools participated in the final instance of the National Robotics League – Ministry of Education of Chubut

With the support of the Ministry of Education, students from Chubut schools represented the province in the final of the National Robotics League, held in the city of Bahía Blanca. There were awards for the provincial delegation in several categories of the competition.

On November 9, the final instance of the National Robotics League was held in the city of Bahía Blanca, province of Buenos Aires, in which students from nine Chubut schools participated: 702 from Rawson, 703 from Puerto Madryn, 724 from Trelew, 733 from Gaiman, 748 from Trelew, 760 from Comodoro Rivadavia, 765 from Lago Puelo, 776 from Playa Unión and 781 from Dolavon.

The competition was organized by the National Technological University Bahía Blanca Regional Faculty, and the GRS, Robotics and Simulation Group, dependent on the same institution. The Chubut delegation, made up of 40 people including students and teachers from across the province, was accompanied on this occasion by the director of Educational Technology, Ricardo Pavéz.

This year the Chubut Robotics League had the assistance and logistical support of the provincial Ministry of Education, so that students can participate in the competitions that are made up of the following categories: Sumo, Sumo RC, Mega Sumo, Mega Sumo RC, Mini Sumo, Mini Sumo Pro, Micro Sumo, Racing, Soccer, and Maze. Students from our province occupied the national winners’ podium in three of those categories.

Pride in Chubut schools

Gaiman School No. 733 obtained 2nd place at the National Level in the Football category; For their part, the students of School No. 703 of Puerto Madryn obtained 2nd place at the National Level in the Labyrinth category, and finally, School No. 748 of Trelew, obtained 3rd place at the National Level in the Micro Sumo category. .

It should be noted that the Ministry had already accompanied the holding of the event at School No. 765 in Lago Puelo, in which it set up the stage prior to the National Final, called the Chubut Robotics League. In this way, the province reinforces its commitment to continue strengthening training in Robotics, as one of the main and innovative lines of action proposed by this management in educational matters.
