In Bagno a Ripoli (FI), at the GOBETTI PALESTRA, over 400 very young Judokas found themselves on the tatami of the “Sergio Carta” Trophy open to the Teens, Children and Children categories. Twelve representatives of the ASD Senshi of via Grotte delle Fate, who shared an intense and emotional day, characterized by challenges, but above all by sport and friendship.
Satisfied with how their little athletes behaved on the Tatami, the technicians Monica Iacorossi and Federico Cappagli, who on this day were able to see first-hand the importance of the constant commitment undertaken in the gym with these very young judokas. Getting on the podium is an important part of these events, but it is not and should not be the only goal. For this reason Monica (international level Judoka and former CS Carabinieri Roma athlete) last April hadded to his sporting curriculum the Specialization Diploma in Teaching of Disciplines for Children “Educajudo” sponsored by Fijlkam aimed at motor sports education for children in the 3-5 year age group. This objective achieved has allowed her to delve into the educational aspect of training and its effect on the neuropsychomotor development of the child in the awareness that, by interacting with the little ones on the tatami, one contributes in parallel to the physical development and maturation of their personality through transmission of values such as respect, courage and perseverance.
