It was party time this Tuesday evening for the Badminton Club de Saint-Marcel (BCSM)!
A few weeks earlier, the duo of president and vice-president Jonathan SOUILLOT and Stéphane CARLOT had extended invitations to the thirty volunteers who had participated in their unmissable “Blackminton” last October. (More info here).
And so, it was at one of their faithful partners, “Les 3 Brasseurs” that they arranged to meet them for an aperitif dinner this Tuesday evening.
Before moving on to the festivities, Jonathan SOUILLOT wished once again to thank his precious volunteers and even offered them a small gift: a totebag bearing the image of the BCSM made a few weeks earlier by Madame SEULIN’s students from the school of couture of Le Creusot (in close collaboration with Céline, member of the BCSM board).
The president also wanted to honor Timothée and Justine, the two youngest volunteers of the club: at the age of 14, the young athletes are involved not only in club events but also alongside the facilitators of the club. badminton school.
To support them in their role as young volunteers, Jonathan announced that he had enrolled Timothée and Justine in the “Campus Badminton” training (organized by the BFC Badminton league).
A system put in place to support the young volunteers of tomorrow, giving them the tools and knowledge necessary to invest effectively in their club.
Frédérik Billiard, president of the Saône et Loire departmental committee, was also present this Tuesday and paid tribute to the work and reputation of the BCSM: “It is a club on which the league relies as an example to help the progression of clubs in the region. Seeing so much investment as a volunteer is truly remarkable,” he declared.
This festive evening continued in a friendly atmosphere, faithful and dear to the BCSM.
