An important event will be held on Monday 2 December at the PalaTrieste in Via Flavia, which represents a great opportunity for cross-pollination between youth basketball and overseas basketball.
Thanks to the collaboration between NBA Basketball School Italy and Champions Camp, in fact, Pallacanestro Trieste and baskeTrieste will host a unique event, a stage of the player clinic tour: under the technical direction of Paulo Prestes, former professional player selected in the NBA draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2010, there will be two 90-minute workouts divided into two categories.
From 3.00pm to 4.30pm there will be space for training for ALL STARs, i.e. those born between 2009 and 2013, while from 5.00pm to 6.30pm there will be space for ROOKIES, i.e. boys and girls born between 2013 and 2017.
The event will be open to everyone, to allow as many people as possible to have a unique experience.
Thus the GM of Pallacanestro Trieste, Michael Archers: “One of the objectives of our club, and therefore also of our youth sector, is to be an inspiration for our athletes. This international event goes in that direction, that is, to put Trieste on the map, to compare ourselves with international realities. It is an honor to open our doors to the NBA, it will be a real pleasure to collaborate for our young people“.
