The premiere of Small Rooms with the Spanish under 21 team has been one of the best news in the Sevilla FC of the last few days. The youth player was called up by Santi Denia for this international break and had a few minutes in the final stretch of the match after replacing Marc Pubill in the 88th minute of a duel against England that ended with a goalless draw.
Kike Salas had been called by Denia for these commitments along with the Sevilla youth squad players as well. Juanlu Sánchez and José Ángel Carmona. However, the latter had to fall from the event due to muscle discomfort.
Once the match was over, Kike Salas was happy for his international debut and appreciated everything he had done so far to reach this level in his sporting career. «I am very happy. There is a lot of work and effort behind living this today and I am proud to be able to wear the shirt of my team,” he considered.
«I have enjoyed the minutes I have been on the field, very happy for the confidence of both Xavi (García Pimienta) and Santi (Denia). “We have to continue working and demonstrate it in the field,” he stated.
Kike Salas will face with the Spanish under 21 team, along with Juanlu, another match in this break, this time on Tuesday from 7:00 p.m. against Denmark.
