Monza, 16 November 2024 – Caught stealing alcohol in a shopping center, after he had just stolen a 50-inch television from a business near the hospital. A 22 year old serial thiefwith several previous cases and at least five shots committed in recent months, was arrested by the police inside the shopping centre Hyper Majestic of via Sant’Andrea. The report to the police arrived shortly after 1am on Thursday from the security staff. Inside the supermarket a young man dressed in dark clothes and with his face hidden by a baseball cap and a mask had entered. When the officers arrived he was still wandering around inside.
Mandatory road slip
“Shopping” interrupted with the arrest and two complaints, one for aggravated theft and one for attempted aggravated theft. The 22-year-old had in fact just appropriated several bottles of alcohol valuable, for a value of 1,600 eurosafter disconnecting the anti-theft plate. Subsequent investigations they allowed us to reconstruct that the young Italian had committed five similar episodes in the last month, and that for this reason he had been subjected to the precautionary measure of the obligation to report to the judicial police. While awaiting immediate trial, the police commissioner has ordered him to stay in his place of residence and to be banned from the Municipalities of Monza and Meda.
