The German national basketball player Franz Wagner led the Orlando Magic to their fifth win in a row in the NBA with another top performance.
In the 98:86 win against the Philadelphia 76ers, the 23-year-old scored 31 points and missed his season’s best by just one point.
Orlando, which still has to make do without its injured top star Paolo Banchero, is in third place in the Eastern Conference with eight wins and six defeats.
The game against the 76ers was also counted as the second game of the league’s internal NBA Cup competition; Orlando won game one against Charlotte.
Moritz Wagner also with 14 points
In addition to Franz Wagner, who also contributed eleven rebounds, his brother Moritz impressed with 14 points. Rookie Tristan da Silva scored six points.
Schröder loses with the Nets
Dennis Schröder lost with the Brooklyn Nets in the New York duel against the Knicks 122:124. The national team captain scored 14 points, but only hit four of his 17 shots from the field.

Only the Golden State Warriors, who won the first 24 games in 2015/16, as well as the Houston Rockets (15:0, 1993/94) and the Washington Capitols (15:0, 1948/49) remained undefeated for longer at the start of a season.
