According to the statement made by TED Ankara College Sports Club, Benli’s funeral will be buried in Gölbaşı Cemetery tomorrow (17.11.2024) after the noon prayer at Gölbaşı Mosque.
Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) also published a condolence message for the late Benli. The following expressions were used in the message:
“We have learned with sadness that Tahir Benli, one of the former basketball players of our national team, has passed away. As the Turkish Basketball Federation, we wish God’s mercy on the deceased and offer our condolences to his relatives and our basketball community.”
