On Saturday, the second day of District Sports Mahotsav 2024 organized by District Sports Association Darbhanga at Nehru Stadium Laheriasarai, a competition of badminton, table tennis, chess and tennis ball cricket was organized. As part of the festival, badminton and table tennis competitions were held today at Darbhanga Club. Chess competition was held in the indoor hall and tennis ball cricket competition was held in the inner chamber of Nehru Stadium. First of all, today in Table Tennis under 9 years, Samar Vijay became the winner. Whereas Keshav Raj became the runner-up, both the players brought glory to their school GD Goenka Public School. Aska Jha, a student of Holy Cross, was the winner in Poon Sach Under 16 Girls category. Whereas, Mausam of GD Goenka Public School became the runner up. In the Under 16 boys category, Siddhant Vats Central English School became the winner. In the chess competition, Vaishnavi Kumari DAV Public School became the winner and Lakshmi Kumari Upgraded Middle School Dadima became the runner-up. In the boys category, Jayesh Mishra from Darbhanga Junior Public School was the winner and Saurya Srivastava from Cinderella English School, Darbhanga was the runner-up.
