This is rare enough to be noted. Grégory Alldritt, usually so valuable at the end of the scrum of the XV of France, suffered a mishap this Saturday evening against New Zealand, in the shock of this autumn tour at the Stade de France.
On a scrum in pain in the French camp, the La Rochelle number 8 promptly released the ball. Caught by New Zealand scrum-half Cameron Roigard, he then attempted a pass for Antoine Dupont, as he has done dozens of times in his career. But Roigard, like a trickster, intercepted the ball and sped away to give the All Blacks an 11-point lead at this point in the match (3-14).
Fortunately for the Blues, the response was quick. On a great offensive from the XV of France, with powerful relays from the forwards, it was the new cap Romain Buros, who was at the conclusion of a pass from Thomas Ramos to reduce the score (10-14).
