Nations League: Germany clearly wins against Bosnia and Herzegovina

Germany has in the penultimate preliminary round game Nations League won in the game against Bosnia and Herzegovina. The German national team beat Bosnia and Herzegovina 7-0 (3-0) in front of 28,143 spectators in Freiburg at the Europa Park Stadium.

Jamal Musiala gave Germany the lead with a header in the second minute. Tim Kleindienst (23rd) and Kai Havertz (37th) increased. In the second half, Florian Wirtz (50th and 57th) scored twice, Leroy Sané (67th) made it 6-0, before Kleindienst scored again in the 79th minute.

For Bosnia and Herzegovina under former Bundesliga professional Sergej Barbarez, it is the sixth defeat in the seventh game. The team has only managed a draw so far.

“The German team is playing dream football today,” said record national player Lothar Matthäus after the first goals. It is Julian Nagelsmann’s highest victory to date as a national coach. The last time Germany won higher was three years ago under Hansi Flick when they beat Liechtenstein 9-0.

The German team has already secured its place in the quarter-finals: Germany’s place in the quarter-finals has been determined early since mid-October.
