Mumbai, November 16 (Language) Uzbekistan’s top seed Khumoyun Sultanov will face second seed Dalibor Sversina of Czech Republic in the men’s singles final of the MSLTA 25K ITF men’s tennis tournament here.
In the semi-finals on Saturday, Sultanov defeated fifth seed Bogdan Bobov of Russia 6-2, 6-1 in about an hour.
Svershina, who is continuously trying to win the title, defeated India’s seventh seed Karan Singh 6-4, 6-0 in one hour and 21 minutes in the second semi-final.
The doubles pair brought happy news for the Indian camp by winning the title.
The second seeded pair of SD Prajwal Dev and Adil Kalyanpur defeated Aryan Shah and Adhitya Ganesan 6-4, 4-6, 10-7 in a tough match.
The doubles winners took home a trophy of $1,395 and 25 ranking points, while the runners-up took home a trophy of $810 and 16 ranking points.
