Alexander Zverev wins the ATP Finals, the unofficial tennis world championship, in a duel with thrilling rallies against the Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz. This time his brother is of no help.
Alexander Zverev simply didn’t know what his brother wanted from him. No, it wasn’t a disagreement or even an argument that the two had during the group showdown against Spanish tennis star Carlos Alcaraz. Alexander Zverev (27) simply wanted advice from his brother Mischa (37), a former professional and close companion. And was taken aback by his brother’s reaction.

He asked where he should position himself for the return of Alcaraz’s second serve. “He showed me about 15 different signs,” Zverev explained afterwards with a smile, “while the whole stadium was dark. I then went to my dad to keep it simple. He told me to go back on the second serve, which was a great suggestion compared to my brother who threw 48 different sign languages and signs at me.” He didn’t understand any of it, said Zverev with a smile.
