Dina Al-Rifai, a member of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Football Association, stressed that Egyptian women can cook and also play football normally.
Dina said on DMC: “Massar Club has been very successful in Egyptian women’s football. It is a team that has had a plan since its first day and is following steady steps, and what it achieves in the African Champions League is a historic achievement in light of its first participation in the tournament.”
He continued, “Massar reached the semi-finals of the Women’s African Champions League, and this is an achievement achieved for the first time in the history of Egyptian women’s football.”
She added, “Ahmed Bilal’s statements about women’s football? I do not feel sad for a specific person, but I am saddened by the lack of appreciation for the effort made. You have the right to offer criticism in a natural way, but insult and belittlement are not good because no one feels the fatigue of these girls except me and their families, and as women we can indeed.” Cooking and raising children, but also playing football and scoring goals, does not diminish us, and we must respect ourselves and respect others, and I am talking about anyone who bullies women’s football, not a specific person.”
Dina Al-Rifai is responsible for women’s football on the current Egyptian Football Association Board of Directors.
