The Itepal Center Juan José Lozano Jareño Pavilion in the Albacete town of La Roda hosted the Grand Final of the 8th edition of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha Trophy held in 2024 and which measured in this grand final the Baloncesto Polígono de Toledo and to the Albacete Basketball Club.

He Albacete Basketball Club In their second consecutive final, now they managed to debut their senior record as Champions of the Women’s Trophy, becoming the second team from Albacete, after UCA, to achieve this prestigious title.
The Grand Final started with a first quarter with many alternations on the scoreboard without a clear dominator. Both teams know each other perfectly and that can be seen inch by inch on the court. The second quarter had a different appearance. The celestial ones, better placed on the court, were able to take a point from their rival just before the break to leave with +7 in their favor in what was their biggest advantage so far.
After passing through the locker room, the game changed little. Alberto Sanz’s team continued to control the scoreboard and kept at bay their rival who was unsuccessfully trying to get within an affordable distance. Always around ten ahead for the women from Albacete. From then until the end, little else changed. The Albacete team achieved its first regional title.
The Best Player of this grand final was without a doubt Amparo Cantos from the Albacete Basketball Club who received the award from the General Director of Sports JCCM at the end of the match.
Present at the Award Ceremony were the General Director of Sports of the Castilla-La Mancha Communities Board, Carlos Alberto Yuste, the Mayor of La Roda, Juan Ramón Amores and the President of the Castilla-La Mancha Basketball Federation, José Esteban Gálvez.
