Vignanello – We receive and publish – The Vignanello badminton tournament in Tuscia, which took place yesterday 16 November 2024 in the picturesque town of the province of Viterbo, confirmed itself as an event of great importance for fans of this growing sport.

The competition saw the participation of athletes from all over Italy, with ten ASDs represented from five regions: Lazio, Sicily, Campania, Tuscany and Lombardy. The edition was characterized by the high technical level of the matches and the impeccable organization which allowed all participants to express themselves at their best.

The tournament took place in multiple categories, starting from very young talents (Under 13) up to adults (Challenge levels B, C and D), with both individual and doubles competitions. The matches took place in an atmosphere of healthy competition, but also of great fair play, which characterized every match. The finals, played with a warm audience, provided moments of spectacle, with intense and precise rallies that highlighted the technique and physical preparation of the athletes.

Numerous podiums for the local club: third place in the men’s singles B category for Francesco Micci and Luca Fornicoli, second place in the women’s singles B for Chiara Provvedi, second place in the men’s doubles B for the couple Lutz Bernhardt and Luca Cappella, first place in the mixed doubles C for Antonio Di Lorenzi and in the same category third place for Lupi Giuseppino, second place in the men’s singles D for Lorenzo Poli, third place in the men’s doubles D for Lorenzo Poli, first place in the mixed doubles U13 for Samuele Piccioni and second place for Edoardo Santi, in the U13 men’s singles second place for Edoardo Santi and third place for Samuele Piccioni.
