On Monday, November 25th, the women’s basketball team exchange game “Friendly Match 2024 Osaka University of Physical Education x Mukogawa Women’s University” will be held at our university’s 6th gymnasium.
This exchange match began in 2017 with an invitation from Mukogawa Women’s University, with which we had a close relationship, and has continued despite cancellations due to the effects of the new coronavirus infection. This match is held for the B team, which has few opportunities to participate in official matches, and also serves as a retirement match for the fourth-year students.
Planning and management are based on students’ autonomy, and preparations are being made mainly by students majoring in sports management. We aim to foster a culture of not only competing schools, but also of watching and supporting university sports, and to lead Kansai basketball and university sports.
