Beyoncé is scheduled to perform at halftime of a National Football League (NFL) game on Christmas Day.
On Monday, Netflix producers announced that the superstar would perform a set during the live streaming service’s first-ever NFL Christmas Gameday on December 25.
The performance will take place during the second of two Netflix games, when the Houston Texans take on the Baltimore Ravens at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
Beyoncé confirmed the news by sharing a short teaser on Instagram showing her standing atop a car covered in red roses while wearing a cowgirl-inspired outfit and matching hat.
Although details of her hometown concert remain under wraps, the 43-year-old is expected to feature special guests from her album Cowboy Carter, released last March.
This show will mark the first time Beyoncé will perform songs from the album live.
“With Netflix and Beyoncé, the NFL is launching what should be a new holiday tradition as the streaming giant has announced NFL games for 2025 and 2026,” commented a Netflix representative.
The Kansas City Chiefs will face the Pittsburgh Steelers on the same day.
Beyoncé is no stranger to the NFL, having already appeared in two Super Bowl games.
The Formation hitmaker headlined the Super Bowl XLVII event held in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2013, where she was joined on stage by her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
She also appeared alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars in Santa Clara, California for Super Bowl 50 in 2016.
Beyoncé’s husband, JAY-Z, has been the NFL’s live music entertainment strategist since 2019.
