Ibaraki Robots Youth Category Information session and tryout for those wishing to join in 2025 | Ibaraki Robots

Ibaraki Robots would like to inform you that we will be holding an “information session for those interested in joining” and a “tryout” in preparation for the next year’s “Ibaraki Robots Youth Category” activities starting April 1, 2025.

The “Ibaraki Robots Youth Category” has the biggest concept of player development, and works to further improve the competitiveness of basketball in Ibaraki Prefecture, discover new human resources, and develop and strengthen players. We also aim to produce athletes who will be active on the world stage.

The “Ibaraki Robots Youth Category” is looking forward to the challenge of passionate basketball players.

Ibaraki Robots Youth Category Activities Overview

Possible academic year

・U18 High school first year – high school third year boys (as of April 2025)
・U15 Boys Boys who are 3rd year junior high school students or younger (as of April 2025)
・U15 Girls Junior high school students 3rd year and under (as of April 2025)

Event date and time

U18 4.5 times a week

Fire・(water)・wood・metal: 18:00-21:00 Earth: 16:00-19:00

U15 Boys 4 times a week

Fire, Wood, Metal: 18:00-21:00 Earth: 13:00-16:00/16:00-19:00

U15 girls 4 times a week

Moon, Water, Wood: 18:00-21:00 Earth: 9:00-12:00

  • As of November 2024 (subject to change after 2025)
  • During long holidays, we may hold second practice sessions, training camps, and field trips.
  • Activity times may change depending on the week.
  • On Sundays, we may have practices, games, and other activities.

Admission fee

15,000 yen (tax included) *First year only/Includes insurance premium

Continuing costs

2,200 yen (tax included) *Annual insurance premium, etc./Only at annual renewal

Monthly fee

・U15: 18,000 yen (tax included)
・U18: 18,000 yen (tax included)

  • You will be required to pay additional costs for training camps/expeditions, purchasing clothing, etc.
  • Ibaraki Robots Youth Group will support 50% of the total cost of the expedition.

Things to note

  • Only those who pass the tryout will be admitted to the Ibaraki Robots Youth Category.
  • Double registration with the Japan Junior High School Athletic Federation, the National High School Athletic Federation, or other club teams and the Ibaraki Robots Youth Category is not permitted.

・Photographs of the tryout will be taken at the club as a record of the activities. Please note that the photos taken may be used by Ibaraki Robots on its official website, SNS, etc.
