A great event that concerns American football and which also becomes a sensational musical debut, capable of attracting the attention of millions of people all over the world. Beyoncé is back live, ready to perform during halftime of the game between the Houston Texans and the Baltimore Ravens on Christmas Day!
The great performance at NRG Stadium it will be broadcast live on Netflix at 10pm Italian time. The music world considers it a real debut, since these are Beyoncé’s first live performances of songs from her album Cowboy Carter.
And it’s all a magical combination, since it will be a show that, from the organization, will take us back to the atmosphere of Super Bowl, the one that Queen B hasn’t felt throbbing since her last performance in 2016.

The stadium stops the sport and gives life to a real concert for the Christmas Gameday. Beyoncé chose to perform in the city where she was born, in Houston, Texas, not surprisingly singing songs that got people talking precisely because of the country verve of the album which received 11 Grammy nominations.
It seems that other singers who collaborated with her on the album will also perform together with her. The names have not yet been officially announced, but Beyoncé fans are thrilled at the idea of seeing her on stage with artists such as: Dolly Parton, Willie Jones, Miley Cyrus or Post Malone, who have contributed to enriching the songs in Beyoncé’s tracklist :

For now we can only fantasize about the idea of seeing a performance by the R&B star together with an artist who has always proudly flaunted her country origins from a musical point of view and beyond.
After all, they collaborated on Beyoncé’s album by producing the song II MOST WANTED which brings together the artistic roots of both.
There is a base in terms of instruments that communicates country and also a bit of pop rock and contains references to the 1975 song Landslidedella band Fleetwood Mac.
The fact that both singers are originally from the south of the USA, Texas and Tennessee respectively, gives us hope for this gem in terms of performance, just to stay on topic.
Beyoncé’s epic Super Bowl performances
We have already seen the singer shine during a football match on two different occasions, the first, perhaps the most memorable, is that of the 2013 Super Bowl in which she sang a mushup together with her classmates and friends, the same ones with whom she started her career when she was still just a girl from Texas: Destiny’s Child, the R&B group founded in 1990.
Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland chimed in Bootylicious, Independent Women, Part 1 e Single Ladies. The latter, a song originally sung by Beyoncé as a soloist, but brought together with her companions ad hoc for the occasion.
The second Beyoncé’s Superbowl was the one in 2016, in which she was a guest. He sang Uptown Funk together with bruno Mars, with hints of his album Lemonadeand then she also performed a duet with Coldplay, with whom he sang both Up&Upis Fix You.
Netflix’s deals between football and Beyoncé
It seems that this initiative confirms the ongoing negotiations between Beyoncé and Netflix itself.
The singer had already directed the concert film for the streaming giant Homecoming and it seems that on that occasion he made agreements for a project made up of many different phases. The live broadcast from the stadium would be one of the many parts planned.
Netflix is aiming higher and higher when it comes to sports broadcasts. It has struck a two-year deal with the NFL to air Christmas games through 2026.
For 2024 we start with the game between Kansas City Chiefs and Pittsburgh Steelers, while users of the teams’ two cities will also be able to watch everything from their local TVs.
