“SNL” Teases Trump-Biden Oval Office Meeting, Featuring Cameo by Alec Baldwin as RFK Jr.

“Saturday Night Live” wasted no time in its most recent episode, parodying the historic meeting between Donald Trump and Joe Biden in the Oval Office at the White House this week. “Hello everyone. Thank you to the press for being here to document this very important presidential transition meeting. I’m serious. Even if we don’t agree, I’m happy to sit down for a respectful conversation,” says Dana Carvey’s Biden.

“Well, look at me. Instead of being rude and crazy as usual, I’m being cool and calm, which in many cases is much scarier,” James Austin Johnson’s Trump adds, before Biden continues: “I’m going to sit here and smile while I ignore the giant fire right behind me.”

Later, Trump complains about how he has “forgotten how boring it is to be president.”

“I love campaigning, I hate being,” he continues. “And I hate the White House, it’s so old, so dated. Many of the carpets are smelly and sticky at the same time. It’s a bit like being in a Regal cinema. Now I have to live here for the next four years, maybe even longer.”

“But I can’t go back to Mar-a-Lago, Joe, because Elon [Musk] it’s there and it’s not going away,” Johnson’s Trump adds. “It’s as in What About Bob? He’s walking around in a bathing suit, showing me videos of rockets and monkeys with computers in their heads. This guy is embarrassing.”

After Carvey’s Biden tries to give Trump some advice on how to be president, Trump responds: “I already know how to be president.”

“It’s about surrounding yourself with the best people and I’m very quickly choosing the best cabinet of all time,” he explains. “They are some of the most dynamic, free-thinking, animal-killing, sexually criminal, medically crazy people in the country.”

Trump then proceeds to share some of his cabinet picks, including Elon Musk (who will head the new Department of Government Efficiency with Vivek Ramaswamy) and Rep. Matt Gaetz (who has been nominated to be attorney general). “It’s an alien versus a predator,” he says. “Governor Kristi Noem (who was tapped to be secretary of the Department of Homeland Security) and RFJ Jr., they’re killing dogs, they’re killing bears, and Melania will be working remotely since the divorce.”

Biden responds: “I see what you’re doing with these appointments. You are picking a bunch of crazies to test how compliant the Senate will be with your policies.”

Later, during the opening segment, the president-elect introduces some of his most controversial choices for the cabinet, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., played by Alec Baldwin, and Gaetz, played by Sarah Sherman.

“I don’t want to disturb you. I just wanted to thank you for appointing me as Attorney General. I’m going to do a great job,” Gaetz says. “If anyone tries to break the law, I will tell them what I told my eyebrows: stop.”

Biden, confused, responds: “Are you serious about this guy? It’s making me sick to my stomach.” Trump adds: “Me too, but I think it’s going to be terrifying.”

Kennedy, played by Baldwin, enters next, telling the president-elect, “I am honored to be the head of the Department of Health and Human Services. Americans need someone to teach them how to be healthy. Someone like me, a 70 year old man with movie star looks and a worm in his brain. … I care deeply about a woman’s right to choose, to choose to give her baby Polio. I just wish people would take my nomination more seriously.”

Charli XCX made her hosting debut on the NBC sketch comedy show on Saturday, where she also served as the musical guest.

The pop star opened his monologue by saying: “You may know me from my album, Brat. But don’t worry if you don’t know, there’s nothing wrong with being straight.”

He also shared that he started performing at a young age, playing his first rave at just 15 years old. “I’ve come very far and today I consider myself a triple threat in England, which means I sing, drink and smoke,” the singer joked.

Charli also opened up about her “Brat Summer” phenomenon, calling it a “crazy experience.”

“So many people have asked me, ‘What is brat?’ And honestly, it’s just an attitude, it’s a vibe,” he explained. “For example, in the new Martha Stewart documentary, when Martha gets upset about an old newspaper article and says she’s glad the reporter who wrote it is dead, that’s brat.”

Y2K actor Kyle Mooney also made a surprise appearance during Charli’s monologue.
