The Italian national judo team made its mark at the U23 European Championships, held in Poland on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th November.
First in terms of number of medals (7), the Italian team placed fifth in the final ranking preceded by Georgia, Holland, Azerbaijan and Spain.
Among the podiums, the continental title won by Giuseppe De Tullio in the 66 kg category stands out.

I saw a lot of determination and a lot of good technique, seasoned with an incredible judo sensitivity which is certainly the result of the good work they do every day. The 7 medals won by Italian judokas: Giuseppe De Tullio, gold in the 66 kg, Federico Ninfo, silver in the 66 kg, Bright Maddaloni, silver in the 81 kg, Giulia Ghiglione, silver in the 48 kg, Asia Avanzato, bronze in the 48 kg, Carlotta Advanced, bronze in the 63 kg and Erica Simonetti, bronze in the +78 kg.
