Since his arrival at Fursac in 2021, Gauthier Borsarello has worked to write a new chapter. Passionate about work clothing and aware of the diversity of men today, he brought a touch of modernity to it while keeping what the house represented in the collective imagination since its creation in 1973: “the label of the ‘man “. The bet was won for the young creative. However, he did not pull any punches by removing, upon his arrival, the famous “De” placed in front of Fursac, whose name recalls the town where the house’s first workshops were located. Since then, Gauthier Borsarello has continued to make people talk about his label by including it on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar, by offering explosive collaborations or by creating the costumes for the Paris orchestra. His atypical career before launching into fashion, he was a double bass player, helped to give him a different perspective on the men’s wardrobe. According to him, clothing must be designed to please as many people as possible, be meaningful and durable.
