The swordsman Ekaterine Bautista defeated the representatives of Puerto Rico, Chile and Sweden to obtain third place in the Youth Sword World Cup that was held from November 15 to 17 at the facilities of the European School, located in San Pablo de Heredia from San José, Costa Rica. In addition, the Mexican achieved her second medal and won silver in the team category, along with Baja California native Fernanda Leere and compatriots Rebeca Hernández and Barbara Ocegueda.
