ANCONA – The appointments dedicated to continue International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, celebrated by the municipal administration of Ancona as an opportunity for reflection, discussion and collective awareness. Tomorrow Tuesday 19 November, from 4.30 pm in the municipal council room, the round table organized by ANDOS Marche odv as part of October-November Pink will be held on the theme “The rights and needs of women, whether breast operated or not”. The lawyer Maria “Milli” Virgilio will speak, president GIUdiT Giuriste d’Italia, Bologna; the biblical scholar Father Alberto Maggi, Founder of the “Vannucci” Biblical Studies Center, Montefano and the sculptor Federica Toppan who will exhibit her bronze works dedicated to the female condition, to the effort to free herself from illness and any burden, in sharing with other women. Andos has made it its mission to inform about the need to inform, for the “care” of women, not only in the physical sense and the meeting on 19 November aims to be a contribution to the women of the area, between Health, Law and Art in the field of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Monday 25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the facade of Town hall and the Calamo Fountain they will come illuminated in orange, the color recognized throughout the world as a symbol of a future without violence against women. At 5pm in the City Council room, the meeting entitled “More aware, more confident”, edited by Italian Judo Wrestling Karate Martial Arts Federation Marche (FIJLKAM).
