Jammu. Senior National Tennis Ball Cricket Championship started on Monday. This competition will run till 21st November. More than 60 teams from different states are participating in it.
Under the championship, matches are played in a 30 yard part of the field. On hitting a six the player is considered out. It is being organized under the auspices of Jammu and Kashmir Tennis Ball Cricket Association over Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council.
The matches will be played under the championship at MA Stadium. In this, a match is of eight overs, in which nine players participate. Five pitches have been made at MA Stadium for the competition. It has teams from Uttar Pradesh, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Delhi etc.
