[18th (Reuters)]- The Billie Jean King Cup (BJK Cup) Finals, a national competition for women’s tennis, played one semi-final match in Malaga, Spain on the 18th, with last year’s runners-up Italy advanced to the final.
In Italy’s first singles match against Poland, Lucia Bronzetti won in straight sets, followed by Jasmine Paolini’s second singles match, where she lost to Iga Świętek in a set count of 1-2.
However, in the third doubles match, Paolini defeated Swiatek in straight sets to advance.
