The no. 2 in the world, Chinese Taipei, will face no. 4 Venezuela on Thursday, November 21 at 12:00 (local time) to open the Super Round of the Premier12 WBSC 2024 presented by RAXUS, which will take place from November 21 to 24 at the Tokyo Dome, Japan.
Defending champion and No. 1 Japan will face No. 5 United States at 7:00 p.m. (local time).
The US and Venezuela qualified in Group A, played in Guadalajara and Tepic, Mexico, from November 9 to 15. Japan and Chinese Taipei advanced in Group B, played in Nagoya (Japan) and Taipei City from November 13 to 18.
The WBSC Premier12 Super Round will see the four qualified teams face each other over three days for a total of six games.
The top two finishers of the Super Round will compete for the 2024 WBSC Premier12 title. Those in third and fourth place will play for the bronze medal.
The medal games are scheduled for Sunday, November 24.
