The coaches and assistants for the 2024 vintage of the LNB All Star Game are known. As stipulated in the LNB regulations, the coaches of the two teams with the most wins in Betclic ELITE and Pro B – and in the case of a tie, with the best point-average general -, on the day of the All-Star Game jury meeting (November 27), will be selected for the ASG.
Rookie coaches in force
Thus, for his first season at the head of Cholet, it is Fabrice Lefrançois who will supervise the French selection. The former assistant of Laurent Vila is succeeding for the moment in the Mauges, with basketball made of intensity and collectiveness. He will be assisted by another French technician, with the coach from Roanne Thomas Andrieux (and not Lamine Kebe as written previously*).
Concerning the foreign selection, it is the coach of Paris Basketball Tiago Splitter who will officiate. Here is another rookie coach who will be entitled to the All-Star Game, he who took over from Tuomas Iisalo this summer. A handover which is going brilliantly for the moment, with the nice record of 7 victories and 2 defeats in Betclic ELITE but above all an impressive run in the EuroLeague for the debut of the Parisian club (7 victories and 3 defeats). Alongside the Brazilian giant, we will find David Morabito de Blois, author of a very good start to the season with the ADA including 7 victories to start the season.
