The Pradines Badminton flag team began its Occitanie regional interclub championship this Sunday near Rodez. This first day, which includes 5 days plus the play-off, pitted Pradines against Castres this Sunday morning from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. then Blagnac from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. With a reshuffled team this new season, they snatched a tie in the morning, 4/4 against Castres but lost heavily 7 to 1 in the afternoon against Blagnac, despite many closely contested matches but lost in 3 sets . There is no doubt that they will do better in the return match. The team for this trip was made up of Valentin Rothan (captain), Fanny Vogelweith, Yann Schoener, Victoria Roumègue, Théo Klein, Maya Lacombe and Baptiste Dajean. They will meet in two weeks, in Figeac, the local team and Rodez. The last team that makes up this group of 6 is Lisle/Tarn. Senior and youth competitions: many adults will be in tournaments next weekend near Saint-Céré then the month of December will be rather busy with day 2 of the interclubs on Sunday 1st in Figeac then it will be the turn of the young people of to compete again in Saint-Céré to participate in stage no. 2 of the Departmental Youth Trophy. Finally, the last tournament of the year 2024 will take place in Cahors on Saturday December 21 during the Bad 46 nighttime Circuit. Still busy program to end this year 2024.
