Great sports year

Sports councilor Hilbert Bredemeijer: “What a great sporting year it was for The Hague! Gold Olympic medals, world and European titles, national championships: our athletes from The Hague have achieved fantastic performances. They are rightly honored during the Hague Sports Gala. The nominees are examples for the city and a source of inspiration to also take up sports. I am curious to see who will walk away with the honorary titles.”

In addition to the sports prizes, the Richard Krajicek Prize will be awarded again this year. Throughout the year, the Krajicek Foundation Scholarshippers have organized various sports activities to get the neighborhoods of The Hague moving, both literally and figuratively.
