Chicago Bulls legend Bob Love has passed away

During the night between November 18th and 19th, Chicago Bulls legend Bob Love passed away at the age of 81, following a battle with cancer. A player who is certainly little known to the general public, but who nevertheless had a great eleven-year career, distinguishing himself above all in the 70s in Chicago, where he was one of the four players who had his shirt retired. Only Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Jerry Sloan have received such an honor (not counting Bill Russell, whose number 6 is retired everywhere). Averaging 21.3 points and 6.8 rebounds in nine seasons with the Bulls, with peaks of over 25 points and almost 9 rebounds per game, Bob Love left his mark in the Windy City: three-time All-Star (1971, 1972, 1973 ), a two-time member of the All-NBA Second Team (1971, 1972) and a three-time member of the All-Defensive Second Team (1972, 1974, 1975).
