Bilsanda. Mannan Raza Khan and Rashmi Yadav won in badminton in the one-day sports competition of teachers held at the playground of Gandhi Memorial Sunderlal Inter College in the city. Shailendra Kumar and Ruchi Gupta stood first in chess. The sports competition was inaugurated by Block Education Officer Shiv Shankar Maurya by lighting the lamp in front of the picture of Mother Saraswati.
Games like badminton, table tennis, volleyball, racing, kho-kho etc. were organized in the teachers’ sports competition. Mannan Raza Khan stood first in table tennis. Ajay Kumar of Junior High School Gauhaniya stood first in discus and javelin throw.
Yogendra Kumar won in long jump. Apart from this, Kho-Kho, women’s and men’s category Kabaddi and tug of war competitions were conducted. The jury included Baghel Singh, Neeraj Kumar, Naeem Ahmed, Jitendra Kumar, Naved Khan etc. Faizan Ali block exercise teacher, Umesh Mishra, Manoj Sharma, Yogendra Kumar supported the competition. Gopesh Sharma, Himanshu Dixit, Manoj Sharma, Ankit Sharma, Gajendra Pal, Sanjay Singh etc. were present on this occasion.
