EL NUEVO DIARIO, SANTO DOMINGO. – The owner of Yordy Cabrera Baseball Academy, accused of the death of the young baseball prospect Ismael Ureña Pérez, 14, broke his silence and defended himself against the serious accusations against him, ensuring that he is innocent of giving the deceased player steroids for horses.

In video, Cabrera denied having had any relationship with the young man’s tragic death and denied rumors about alleged threats to the deceased’s family.

“I deeply regret what happened, but I had nothing to do with this,” Cabrera said in his statement, emphasizing that the truth will come to light during the course of the investigations.
