On a series of 13 consecutive victories in all competitions, still undefeated and a clear leader in the league, Paris Saint-Germain Handball intends to continue its momentum in the Champions League. Already in a good position to qualify directly for the quarter-finals and currently second in group A, the Ile-de-France club is traveling to Lisbon, to Sporting CP.
In the first leg, Raul Gonzalez’s men won in a tight match (30-28), with six goals from Elohim Prandi. This time, the PSG serial scorer will be absent due to a shoulder dislocation with the French team. The Parisian coach, who will become Serbia coach at the end of the season, however hopes to be able to count on Luc Steins, who fractured a finger at the beginning of November, but is now on the verge of recovery.
The Sporting CP-PSG Handball kick-off is scheduled for this Wednesday, November 20, at 8:30 p.m. The match will be watched live on Eurosport 2.
