The general meeting of the Neuville-aux-Bois Judo Association took place on Friday. The opportunity to take stock of the season and discuss projects.

David Gauché, president of the judo section of the Amicale de Neuville-aux-Bois, presented the sporting results and the club’s new developments during the general assembly on Friday at the sports complex. The section has 105 licensees and two employees. The structure was fortunate to find a new judo teacher, Maxence, to replace Delphine Cormier. The latter continues to teach taiso at the club.

A great track record

The judokas obtained good results during the 2023-2024 season. Among the chicks, among the nine who participated in the Little Tigers amination of the Loiret committee, Aaron Jouas obtained the little golden tiger, four obtained the little silver tiger and four others the little bronze tiger. For the juniors, Timéo Ahrens finished second in the Amilly tournament. Mathis Chevallier also finished second in the northern basin tournament and the regional championship. Although he qualified, he was unable to participate in the French Cup, nor in the national training course in Angers, due to an injury. Nevertheless, he placed second at the national tournament in Beaune (Côte d’Or).

On the cadet side, Evan Gauché finished 3 e at the northern basin tournament. He then moved up to the regional first division but did not qualify for the French championships. At the regional championship of 2 e division, the for purposes 3 e and qualified for the French championships, where he went until 16 e of final.

The end of lotteries

A disappointment was shared. The last lottery was a fiasco, which caused a deficit of 1,487 euros last season. The office therefore decided not to organize any more. The judokas’ photo session at the start of the year will be repeated. And an online store will be created, offering clothing with the new club logo, which David Gauché presented during this general assembly.
