PThe anti-crime activity of the Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Ragusa continues uninterruptedly, with particular regard to weapons violations.
In particular, on the night of the 13th, the Carabinieri of the Scoglitti station, during a road traffic control service, proceeded to inspect a car driven by a Tunisian citizen identified in BBR, cl.94. During the police activity, the military first checked the regularity of the driving documents and the vehicle and, subsequently, becoming suspicious of the driver’s behavior, they carried out further investigations inside the passenger compartment and found that the man had hidden, behind the driver’s seat, a 50 cm long wooden stick, similar to a baseball bat.whose detention was found to be without justified reason.
Once the operations on site were completed, the Carabinieri first seized the wooden stick and, after having fully identified BBR, they referred him in a state of freedom to the Judicial Authority for the crime of illicit possession of objects capable of offending.
