The Frankfurt Galaxy invites selected people next Sunday, November 24th, 2024
players for the official tryout. In an intensive training session, the participants
the chance to demonstrate their skills in front of the coaches and those responsible for the ELF team
to provide evidence.
Tryout program flow
The day begins at 9:00 a.m. with the registration of players and the issuance of the special
Tryout shirts. The participants have already been confirmed in advance – subsequent registration is therefore no longer possible.
At 10:30 a.m., sports director Thomas Kösling welcomes the athletes to a meeting
the daily routine, expectations and important information are discussed. This meeting will last approximately 30 to 45 minutes and will provide players with the opportunity to ask any final questions
to clarify.
The sporting highlight of the day starts at 11:15 a.m.: as part of an open practice
the players show their skills in various disciplines and exercises. The focus here is on athleticism, technique and team spirit. The training session ends between 2:00 p.m. and
2:30 p.m.
With this tryout, the Frankfurt Galaxy sets another milestone in their search for
talented football players who are ready to get started in the European League of Football (ELF).

Frankfurt Galaxy is one of the best-known names in football: The Frankfurter American
Football team was a founding member of the World League of American Football (WLAF) in 1991
and in NFL Europe, the European branch of national football based in the USA
League (NFL), and probably the most successful team in Europe, before the NFL Europe
was dissolved in the 2007 season. Frankfurt Galaxy plays in the European League of Football
(ELF), which started its first season in 2021 with eight teams and with Frankfurt Galaxy
finished as 1st champion. In 2024, the league will expand to 17 teams for its fourth season
expanded to ten European countries. American football is also becoming increasingly known and popular in Europe: two NFL games have already been played in Frankfurt am Main in 2023.
