Las Concacaf Nations League Finals 2024-25 They will be the final phase of the 2024-25 edition of the Concacaf Nations League, the fourth season of the international soccer competition that involved the men’s national teams of the Concacaf member associations.
This last phase was made up of the four winners of the League A quarterfinals, who played semifinals, a match for third place and a final match to determine the champion of the competition. The championship was held in a single venue.
The finals were played with a single-match direct elimination system, with the semifinals being on March 20, and the match for third place and the final on the 23rd of the same month. For the semifinals and final, in the event that the match ends tied at the end of regulation time, extra time will proceed with two halves of 15 minutes each. If at the end of extra time, equality persisted, a penalty shootout was held to determine the winner of the match.
In the case of the match for third place, in the event of a tie at the end of the regulation 90 minutes, it went directly to the penalty shootout to determine the winner without playing extra time.[1]
Each nation must provide a final squad consisting of 23 players, of which three must be goalkeepers. Each list must be submitted 10 days before the first game of this event. If a player in the squad suffers a serious injury or must withdraw for medical reasons, he can be replaced by another player before his team’s first match, always with approval from Concacaf.[1]
The Finals of the Concacaf Nations League were held again in the United States, more precisely in California. On October 9, 2024, SoFi Stadium, a multipurpose sports venue, was made official as the venue for this event; home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers of the NFL and several times host of the Concacaf Gold Cup, and located in Inglewood, within the Los Angeles metropolitan area.[2]
The four winners of the League A Quarterfinals were classified based on their results to determine the semifinal matchups.
