After 12 uninterrupted years of presidency, the president of Baseball Godo, Carlo Naldoni, has resigned, although already announced at the beginning of the sporting season which ended last September. Carlo Naldoni first sent his official resignation through institutional channels, then published a long farewell letter which denotes his great attachment to the colors of the Goths and his great passion for baseball. “After 12 years – writes the resigning president – which also had moments of great difficulty, but which, for the most part, gave me beautiful moments and filled me with satisfaction and pride, fun and pleasure in being part of and having roles important, in local society and in the world of baseball, I believe the time has come to make way for others who can take up the baton and, with renewed enthusiasm, continue to carry forward this splendid adventure which has always been called “the Godo miracle “and not without reason.” Already at the beginning of 2024 the president had expressed his thoughts, namely that Baseball Godo would turn the page, proposing new ideas and entrusting the leadership of the company to a motivated group. “To do this, a renewal of the management group is necessary – continues Carlo Naldoni – starting with the undersigned. In fact, with my resignation, the management also ceases: the shareholders’ meeting must therefore be called (it will be on 10 December) to proceed with the election of a new president and a new management. As far as I’m concerned, I gave everything I could and did my utmost to meet the needs of the company and to solve the problems we have had to face over the years, even if within the limits of my abilities, obviously I will remain available, for any eventuality or help or clarification, both of the new president and of the new management and I will continue to actively follow our company and our teams always with enthusiasm, passion and participation. I wish everyone to be able to achieve the maximum of results and satisfaction from their work and their commitment, my support will certainly not be lacking. A warm greeting and a warm and strong collective hug to all of you, I am moved. Goodbye anyway on the pitch or in the offices where the club operates”. This marks the end of 12 seasons with many placings among the best Italian teams, a heavy legacy to collect
